I don't know if it's gonna raining for today...

Monday, the weather is colder than on the past days and I feel glad about it... you know, I've been expecting the cold to come for a long time, and now it seems that is here!

How was your weekend? Mine was good, full of activities!

On Friday, I went with Rocio, Esther, Edo and Jess to a Barbie expo... but it was closed! You see, on the website they didn't say that on Friday and Saturday it was closed... anyway, we had lunch in a Japanese restaurant and we had a lovely time!

Then by the night, I went with Esther and her boyfriend Kim to the presentation of the new Bibian Bule's book. Bibian Blue is a corset and fashion designer from Barcelona that creates wonderful pieces of clothes... and she gave a party in order to promote the book of photos of her brand!

I spent all Saturday in shopping at Encants and Rieira Baixa with Naila, Micky and Laia, I found some good treasures... but the best one was my new Sonia Rykiel's shoes... only for 15€! The second hand is so good...

I love this dress!

From H&M! So new-rave, hahaha!

And yesterday, Sunday, we went to the  Creative convention... it wasn't really good, and I almost didn't find anything interesting... I bought some things for customizing the letters and a lollipop that I'll use as a necklace... and a cute piece of fabric for doing ribbons. By the way, I fix the clock I bought at Encants, and now is a necklace!

Sixties' inspiration days!

PS2: I was tagged by Sher for making a cool game; I'll do it in my next post because I have to search for lots of things in my room in pink!! Thank you, dear!!

We spent the day in the neighbourhood of Gracia, and finally, we had a walk down Passeig de Gracia... where you can see this:

This is the Batlló House, another great building from Gaudi,,, it's my favourite one, amazing!!

My mother left Barcelona that day, and since that, I'm a little bit sad... but I'll see her again on Christmas because I'm almost sure that I'll go back home for Christmas... of course, after that, I'll come back to Barcelona... just trying to find my dreams!

Sorry for the lack of post of these days, I promise I'll be posting more often this week... I was a little bit sad about my mother and thinking in my own stuff, hahaha! And I didn't want to post about sad things, you know!

So that's why I'm doing...

My Thanksgiving list!!!

Bloglovin' asked their bloggers just to write about their favourite people and I'm doing it right now! So this is my list!!

Elin is my muse. My inspiration. Every time I read one of her posts, I fell in love with her once again. Her naturalness, simplicity and great style made me fall in love long ago. When I need inspiration I go to her files and photographs, because she is able to do that we can see the magic in a simple sheet of paper ... for being you, thank you, Elin!

One day I met Sandra. And I found the magic of the daily life. She writes about the little things that are important, those that when you're far from home, makes you smile. That's the spell that Sandra has got over me: she always makes me smile like a child with her lovely posts... Besides all, she has a special quality about me and is that she makes me yearn for a place, Sweden ... as my home. Hopefully, someday I can go there to live, because of course, that's one of my dreams since I was a child and Sandra inspires me to do so...

Emma has got a big quality, and is that she can live nowadays like if it where in the past. She has achieved something that was sleeping inside me, and it is the pleasure of the old. And when I say old, I mean vintage things. With its sympathetic writings and his wonderful style, I have learned to retrieve something I used to love from my childhood: the pleasure of the smell of used things, the feel of a pair of used shoes, the texture of the clothes from yesteryears ... Thanks, Emma, because it is for you that the word "vintage" has returned to my vocabulary!

Laia has entered my life like a wild wave, and I very much appreciate it. She has made me see that there is no need to dream of distant places to pursue our dreams, although both dreamingss to leave far from home. I discovered that I have a friend closer than I thought, someone with I can share small treasures that I had forgotten. For being my friend, thanks, Laia!

Of course, I leave here lots of wonderful people... Maria from Lulu Letty, Daria, Sher, Daisy, Ines... you all know that I love you and you're part of my inspiration too!

And you? Who do you wanna say "Thank you"?

Sundays at Barcelona...

Hi everybody, my beautiful people!! I'm sorry for the lack of post these days ago, but as I told you, my mom was here and I was spending some time with her!!

First of all, I want to say something for all the people who read this blog and are from the USA: Happy Thanksgiving day! I hope you all pass a great day!

Well, as I've got lots of gorgeous pictures to show you, I'll talk a little bit about my last Sunday. I spent it with my mom and her boyfriend, Rafa (who is working at the moment at Tarragona, very near from Barcelona; but I'm sure that he'll come back to Algeciras really soon). First of all, we went into the Sagrada Familia, do you remember that place? I'm sure you would with the pictures...

Gaudi was a genius!!
My mother wanted to visit this because last time she was here it was before she was pregnant!!

Then we went to a very very lovely place: el Borne. It's an old zone from Barcelona where you can find the famous Catedral del Mar (something like Mary of the Sea's Cathedral, I don't know if the translation is good!). Maybe some of you have read the book The Cathedral of the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones... so, yes, this is the place... and it was really beautiful!

My mother at Plaza del Rei

After this wonderful place, we went to Grácia for having lunch there and had a walk through that zone and Park Güell; unfortunately, it was dark and we couldn't take good pictures... but don't worry, yesterday we went again there and I'll show you wonderful things!!

I want to live here!!

Me at Park Gëll.

I wanna live in a vintage movie with fairies...

Hello everybody! How was your Saturday, good? I really hope so! Mine was really nice, and I'm really happy because my mum came today from Algeciras to Barcelona just for seeing me! She'll stay here until Thursday!!

But let's explain the day in parts... why I want to live in a vintage movie? Easy: Laia and I went today to les Encants' market... and it was awesome! There were a lot of vintage things, I wish I had more money to spend there! I bought a vintage brooch, so cool; a vintage bag that never had been used and a watch (the watch is not vintage but is cool anyway!. And everything was so cheap!!

The bag is ultra cute!

Then I went to Tamar's shop and I had lunch with Gerard and her; and at 5 o'clock I went to the airport just for picking my mum and her boyfriend, who came from Tarragona... After that, we went to her hotel, at Plaza España... look what a gorgeous sights from her room!

We had dinner in the city centre and I took them to El Bosc de las Fades, one of the coolest places at Barcelona... here's where you find the sense about the fairies...

This gorgeous woman is my mum!

I love her so much and I'm so happy that she has come!

My cosmopolitan!

This place is really cute!

And yes, here's the fairy!!

Tomorrow we're visiting some cool places, I'll take lots of pictures!

The Machine...

It is now a couple of years ago that I discovered the heavenly sound of your throat and force of your letters, those that make your vocal cords vibrate. Screaming lessons in our ears; lessons that everyone should have already learned but that sometimes we are unable to assimilate. Whispering that we must be run through everything we love, and that sometimes we should leave behind what we love; running for our mother, fighting for what we believe. Stopping being a rabbit girl to become a lion girl, ready for battle. Jumping into the void, letting the happiness we get hit us like a train; stumbling, falling and getting up again, because that's life.

Today I dedicate my lines once again on your red head, your sighs and your passions, today I dedicate my words to you once again because sometimes when I feel sluggish, you take my smile away with every little piece of your sound ... and I smile even more thinking that I want to express this.

Today I want to scream something everybody already knows, but I do not care.

I am part of the machine. We are all parts of this machine that moves, based on valves, inspirations, throbbing and tears. Everyone, whether you like it or not, settle for a fraction of a heavy equipment: life. And within this machinery, there are sometimes sounds that guide us. The sound of Florence, among other very important sounds, guides me.

And yes, I am also a part of the machine.

You've got the Love is original from The Source featuring Candi Staton; but I love Florence's cover too.

I didn't say anything about Daul's dead because I really think that there's nothing more about to say, except that we'll keep her in our mind :(
