A french touch

Hi there!

Last weekend wasn't the best for me, as I spent almost all Friday at home with a fever, and the night was really horrible D:! I woke up every 3 hours with fever, but fortunately, on Saturday morning, I was feeling better. The bad thing is that I missed a great party that Laia was having for her sister's birthday... but anyway, I couldn't do anything :(!

El pasado fin de semana no fue el mejor para mí, ya que me pasé casi todo el viernes en casa con fiebre, y la noche fue realmente horrible D:! Me despertaba cada tres horas con fiebre, pero afortunadamente, en la mañana del sábado ya me encontraba lgo mejor. Lo malo es que me perdí una fiesta genial que Laia organizaba por el cumpleaños de su hermana... pero no pude hacer nada por ir :(!

Nevertheless, not all was horrible at the end: it was Esther's birthday too, and as on Saturday night I felt much better, I went to have dinner with her and the rest of the "Pitita's gang" ;P!

The place in which we had dinner was Oval, a very nice burger restaurant in which you can create your own burger. We had some nachos, sweet potato and fries for starters... so delicious! And later on we had our burgers. Mine was with brie, tomatoes, sweet onion and blueberries... yummy!

Pero bueno, no todo fue tan horrible al final: también era el cumpleaños de Esther, y como el sábado me encontraba bastante mejor por la noche, me fui a cenar con ella y el resto de la "Pandilla Pitita" ;D

El lugar elegido para la cena fue el Oval, un restaurante especializado en hamburguesas donde puedes crear la tuya propia. Tomamos nachos, boniato y patatas fritas de entrantes... deliciosos! Y luego cada uno su propia hamburguesa. La mía llevaba brie, tomate, cebolla caramelizada y arándanos :D!

The rest of the evening was fairly quiet, as after dinner I went home to watch some movies in good company; but before leaving, we took a picture with my Instax and Marta took some outfit photos, as I wanted to show you one of the gorgeous sweaters I got last week at Flamingos Gallery. As you may remember, I haven't buy any clothes since last October and, as I needed a couple of sweaters, I had them from this second-hand shop (I still don't wanna buy 'fast fashion' stores). I must say that this experiment is working really well, as we're on sales period and I don't feel the urge of buying anything apart from what I need, as the sweaters (each one for only 5€, by the way!).

El resto de la velada fue bastante tranquila, ya que tras la cena me fui a casa a ver películas en buena compañía; antes de irnos nos tomamos una foto con mi cámara Instax, y Marta me hizo algunas fotos de look, ya que quería enseñaros el fabuloso jersey con el que me hice la pasada semana en la Flamingos Gallery. Como recordaréis, llevo sin comprar nada de ropa desde el pasado mes de Octubre, y como necesitaba un par de jerseis de punto, los compré en esta tienda de segunda mano (no quiero comprar en tiendas 'fast fashion', tal como me prometí a mí misma). La verdad es que este experimento me está funcionando bastante bien, ya que estando incluso en periodo de rebajas, no tengo la ansiedad de comprar nada de ropa más allá de lo que pueda necesitar, como los jerseis (por 5€ cada uno, por cierto!)
