Who does not dream of travelling to strange and exotic places? No, I'm going to India (I wish!), but last Sunday I went with the girls to an Indian restaurant and we had a wonderful time.

Meet me in the Drunch!

A couple of weeks ago we decided to hold a small party at home, which we christened 'drunch', the version of mid-afternoon brunch.

Hace un par de semanas decidimos celebrar una pequeña fiesta en casa, la cual bautizamos como 'drunch'; es decir, la versión del brunch a media tarde.

My roommate Javi, and I love the concept of the 50s and the perfection of the southern housewives of that time so we made a mini-burgers menu, canapes sausages, lemonade, iced tea, meat with Coca Cola sauce ...All very authentic!

A mi compañero de piso Javi, y a mí nos encanta el concepto de los años 50 y la perfección de las amas de casa sureñas de aquella época; así pues, hicimos un menú con minihamburguesas, canapés de salchichas, limonada, té helado, carne con salsa de Coca Cola... ¡todo muy auténtico!

Bad dreams are made of me.

One week ago I went back to Jerez for seeing the doctor. This time I went to a haematologist, who made me a couple of analytical tests to try to find out a bit about what happens to me. However, later this month I have more tests at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, ​​to see if we get something clear soon.

La semana pasada volví a Jerez para ver al médico. Esta vez visité a un hematólogo, el cual me hizo un par de pruebas analíticas para tratar de averiguar un poco qué me pasa. No obstante, a finales de este mes tengo más pruebas en el Hospital Clinic de Barcelona; a ver si sacamos pronto algo en claro.

From dawn 'till dusk

My friends often tell me that, as a rule, boy's clothes are more boring than the girls' ones, but I love buying boy's t-shirts. For example, I bought recently this one at Pull & Bear, and love it. They have done some themed 'zombie', something that is hard to find in tank girl (at affordable prices, I mean) and I loved this particular one.

Mis amigos suelen decirme que, por regla general, la ropa de chico es más aburrida que la de chica, pero a mí sin embargo me gusta mucho comprar camisetas de chico. Por ejemplo, ésta la compré hace poco en Pull&Bear, y me encanta. Han hecho algunas de temática 'zombie', algo que es difícil encontrar en camiseta de chica (a precios asequibles, me refiero) y ésta en concreto me encantó.

The skater cut skirt has become my favourite basic garment all summer, and I think it will remain so in the fall. I'm in the hunt for a skirt of this type from American Apparel, as I really like its design.

La falda de corte skater se ha convertido en mi básico favorito durante todo el verano; y creo que seguirá siéndolo durante el otoño. Estoy a la caza y captura de alguna falda de este tipo de American Apparel; su diseño me gusta mucho.

Cat's Eyes

When I was in Algeciras we had to go to Jerez one of the days of my stay there to see the doctor who will do the surgery me. On the way home, we stopped at the beautiful Monastery of La Cartuja and took some photos despite the stifling hot it was that day.

Cuando estuve en Algeciras tuve que ir a Jerez uno de los días de mi estancia allí para ver al doctor que va a operarme. Durante el camino de regreso a casa, paramos en el precioso Monasterio de La Cartuja e hicimos algunas fotos a pesar de la asfixiante calor que hacía aquel día.

Hello everyone!

During the last weeks, I had very little time to post, I'm so sorry about it! The truth is that I have a thousand and one things to do these days, I've got a lot of work and I've to focus on a very important event that will happen in September ...I'm getting a breast reduction! I think you've commented before, but definitely, there is no turning back.

For a few days, I came to Algeciras to finish the paperwork for the operation and pre-operation... so everything is almost ready, the next September 10th I will pass under the knife *fingers crossed*

Durante las últimas semanas he tenido muy poco tiempo de postear, ¡lo siento mucho! La verdad es que tengo mil y una cosas que hacer estos días; tengo bastante trabajo y además he de centrarme en un acontecimiento muy importante que ocurrirá en septiembre... ¡voy a hacerme una reducción de pecho! Creo que os lo he comentado con anterioridad, pero definitivamente ya no hay vuelta atrás.

Durante unos días he venido a Algeciras para acabar de arreglar el papeleo de la operación y hacerme el preoperatorio... así que ya está todo casi listo, el próximo 10 de Septiembre pasaré por el quirófano *dedos cruzados*

Ribbons and flowers for my sunday.

This past weekend I spent my Sunday at Marc's home, who has a great spot in Las Planas. 

A little group were celebrating the birthday of Irene and her mother, Carmen, prepared a scrumptious paella for us.

We also played with the little Vietnamese piggy Marc has as a pet, Puerky!

El pasado fin de semana pasé el domingo en casa de Marc, el cual tiene un terreno en Las PLanas genial.

Estuvimos unos cuantos celebrando el cumpleaños de Irene y su madre, Carmen, nos preparó una paella riquísima. 

Además todos jugamos con Puerky, la pequeña cerdita vietnamita que Marc tiene de mascota!
