The views from 't Veld

Life in 't Veld is really quiet, and the views are amazing no matter where you look. The grass is green and with this weather I feel like walking every day a little bit just to breath and sneak around the village. 

La vida en 't Veld es realmente tranquila, y las vistas son impresionantes, no importa hacia dónde mires. La hierba es verde y la temperatura me hace querer salir a caminar un poco cada día, sólo para respirar un poco y curiosear los alrededores del pueblo. 

Sometimes it rains and it's windy, but with my red raincoat I feel prepared and it's not a problem to walk around. 

A veces llueve y hace viento, pero con mi chubasquero rojo siento que no es un problema caminar bajo la lluvia.   

Maybe is not the place where I would like to stay forever, but for a little while, it's more than ok!

Tal vez no es el lugar donde me gustaría quedarme para siempre, pero para unos días, está muy bien.

Walking through the dutch countryside

After Igne and Tommy's wedding, Thijs & I spend a few days in 't Veld, a small town in the province of Noord-Holland where his family lives. A beautiful and peaceful place where wander and get lost.

We were able to visit the Museum of Perfume Bottles in Winkel, which has a large collection of bottles from the early 1900s ... A treat for our eyes and noses!

Tras la boda de Igne y Tommy, pasamos unos días en 't Veld, una pequeña ciudad en la provincia de Holanda del Norte. Un lugar precioso y muy tranquilo por el cual pasear y perderte.

Pudimos visitar el Museo de Botellas de Perfumes en Winkel, el cual cuenta con una gran colección de botellas desde principios de 1900... ¡Una delicia para nuestros ojos y narices!

Something very characteristic of the Netherlands is, on the one hand, the lack of mountains in the landscape and on the other, its windmills, most of them perfectly preserved. During the trip, I have discovered several types of windmills: from reconverted into bars to adapted to be a house, as the pictures ... Would not you like to live in a mill like that?

Algo muy característico de Holanda es, por un lado, la carencia de montañas en su paisaje y, por otro, sus molinos de viento, en su mayoría perfectamente conservados. Durante el viaje he podido descubrir de varios tipos: desde reconvertidos en bares a adaptados para ser una casa, como el de las fotos... ¿No os gustaría vivir en un molino así?
