At Kaasmuseum and Orgelstad's Church in Alkmaar.

Last Tuesday we visited Alkmaar again for finishing the paperwork and visiting the Kaasmuseum (Cheese Museum), as we couldn't go before due to all the tourist that were there because of the Kaasmarkt. 

El martes pasado fuimos nuevamente a Alkmaar para terminar de arreglar el papeleo y visitar el Kaasmuseum (Museo del Queso), ya que la vez anterior nos fue imposible al haber muchísima gente curioseando el Kaasmarkt. 

The Kaasmuseum is located at Waagplein, and it's a wonderful old building in the middle of the square. Inside, you can discover the process of making cheese, its history, how it became so big in Holland or which type of machines they've been using for it. 

El Kaasmuseum está situado en Waagplein, y es un precioso edificio antiguo en el centro de la plaza. Dentro puedes decubrir el proceso de elaboración del queso, su historia, cómo se convirtió en algo tan popular en Holanda o qué tipo de máquinas han estado utilizando para su elaboración. 

The city of Alkmaar is very beautiful. It has a couple of churches really astounding and lots of windmills. At Alkmaar Orgelstad's church, they have an amazing organ from 1646 that still sounds great nowadays. You can find more information about it here. 

La ciudad de Alkmaar es preciosa. Tiene un par de iglesias espectaculares, y varios molinos en sus alrededores y en el centro de la ciudad. En la iglesia de Orgelstad podéis ver un impresionante órgano que data de 1646 y el cual a día de hoy sigue funcionando estupendamente. Podéis encontrar más información aquí. 

Btw, I bought this skirt a couple of months ago, with a print of Van Gogh's Starry Night (one of my favourite paintings from all times). It's great for this weather! I think I will try it with a petticoat under it, so it will be more puffy and ladylike :)

Por cierto, compré hace unos meses esta preciosa falda con el estampado de "La Noche Estrellada" de Van Gogh; es uno de mis cuadros preferidos. ¡La falda es ideal para este tiempo! Creo que probaré a llevarla con un pettitcoat para darle un poco más de volumen y que se vea más ladylike :)
