Our Saturday in Warsaw was full of funny moments. The most important thing is that we wanted to do a beer challenge around the city, but the first beer we tried in the first pub was so expensive and horrible that we quit and went to a concert instead.

Back to Warsaw: You normally don't see me this way...

And I must say it's true! You normally don't see me in pants, and that's because I normally don't wear them! But when I saw a couple of months ago this gorgeous jean salopettes, I totally fell in love. I used it when I was back in Warsaw, and it was really cosy and great.

Normalmente no me veis de esta guisa... y ¡es cierto! No soléis verme llevando pantalón largo, y se debe a que apenas utilizo. Pero cuando hace un par de meses vi este peto vaquero, me enamoré por completo. Es cómodo y muy chulo, ¿verdad?

A year ago or so I had this beautiful dress at El Ganso, but I had set it up now. The truth is that its premiere could not have been in a better city and better company... Stay tuned for my adventures in Warsaw that day, everything imaginable happened to us!

Back to Warsaw: around the Stare Miasto and the University Library

During my second day in Warsaw we were walking through the old town (stare miasto), where is one of my favourite sculptures ever: Warsaw's Mermaid. I wrote about her last time I was in Warsaw. We also walked on the Barbican and then took a walk along the river.

Durante mi segundo día en Varsovia estuvimos paseando por el casco antiguo de la ciudad (el stare miasto), donde se encuentra una de mis esculturas favoritas: la Sirena de Varsovia. Os hablé de ella la otra vez que estuve en Varsovia. También caminamos sobre la barbacana y luego dimos un paseo por la orilla del río.

Back to Warsaw: Red leaves at the Warsaw University Library (Biblioteka Uniwersytecka w Warszawie)

One of the things I most like about autumn (and I certainly could enjoy in Warsaw) are the shades of the landscapes. I love watching the leaves turn reddish or brown, drying in the sun before falling. I think it's one of the most enchanting phenomena of nature.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta del otoño (y de la que sin duda pude disfrutar en Varsovia) es las tonalidades que toma el paisaje. Me encanta ver cómo las hojas toman un color rojizo o marrón, secándose al sol antes de caerse. Creo que es uno de los fenómenos con más encanto de la naturaleza.

Back to Warsaw: visiting the Soviet Military Cementery.

We spent my first day around Warsaw walking through the city toward the Soviet Military Cemetery. After getting up and having breakfast, we headed to Zbawiciela square, but not before passing by the Pałac Kultury i Nauki (Palace of Culture and Science), one of the points of the city that I love and where we find one of the signs of the old Jewish ghetto wall.

Mi primer día en Varsovia lo pasamos paseando por la ciudad en dirección al Cementerio Militar Soviético. Tras levantarnos y desayunar, nos dirigimos a la plaza Zbawiciela, no sin antes pasar por el Pałac Kultury i Nauki (Palacio de la Cultura y la Ciencia), uno de los cónclaves de la ciudad que tanto me gusta y por donde encontramos una de las señalizaciones del antiguo muro del gueto judío.

Back to Warsaw: Forest ghosts around Mokotów district

I must say that I almost just arrived from Warsaw and I'm already planning my return to this city that has me totally captivated, not only for its beauty, but also 'cause it's where is one of my favorite persons in the world, my friend Jairo. 

For five days I've been enjoying his beloved company through the streets of Warsaw, a city that never ceases to amaze us when we walk together.

He de decir que casi acabo de llegar desde Varsovia y ya estoy planificando mi viaje de vuelta a esta ciudad que me tiene totalmente cautivada, no sólo por su belleza, sino porque además es allí donde está una de mis personas favoritas, mi querido amigo Jairo. 

Durante cinco días he podido disfrutar de su entrañable compañía recorriendo las calles de Varsovia, una ciudad que nunca deja de sorprendernos cuando la paseamos juntos.

Today I finally I bring the end of my trip to Poland, I will show the route of the Royal Route of Krakow, we did on my fourth day ...The road that crossed the Polish kings to be crowned!

Learning from the past to keep walking forward the future (Poland day 3)

Hi all! Today I will continue with my trip to Poland!

The third day in Warsaw, Jairo and I got up early and, after a good breakfast, we went to the Warsaw Uprising Museum. Before that, we took the last street of the ghetto, Prózna Street, and from there we went through Chłodna Street was the street that separated the two ghettos

Hola a todos! Hoy voy a proseguir con mi viaje a Polonia!

El tercer día en Varsovia, Jairo y yo nos levantamos temprano y, tras desayunar bien, nos fuimos hacia el Museo del Levantamiento de Varsovia. Antes me llevó por la última calle del gueto, la calle Prózna; y de allí pasamos por la calle Chłodna que era la calle que separaba ambos guetos.

We fight fearlessly and so patriotic, without shame (Poland day 2)

Welcome back, everyone! Today I bring you the continuation of my Polish adventures.

My second day was full of tourists. We got up and ate a real Polish breakfast, and then, we went to tour the city.

Our first stop was Plac Piłsudskiego (Piłsudski Square), there we saw the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Ogród Saski (the Saxon Garden). In the grave, there are always two guards and the fire must remain always on.

Bienvenidos todos de nuevo! Hoy os traigo la continuación de mis aventuras polacas. 

Mi segundo día fue de turista total. Nos levantamos y comimos un auténtico desayuno polaco, y acto seguido, nos fuimos a recorrer la ciudad. 

Nuestra primera parada fue Plac Piłsudskiego (Plaza de Piłsudski); allí pudimos ver la Tumba del Soldado Desconocido y el Ogród Saski ( Jardín de los Sajones). En la tumba siempre hay dos guardias y el fuego ha de permanecer siempre encendido.

Two years away doesn't mean we cannot rock together again (Poland day 1)

So, first of all, thank you for your support after what I wrote about in my last post. It's been a difficult time but I guess I must go on... and I must catch up on all your blogs and comments and all the things I've been doing during the last weeks... so let's start with the first post about my trip to Poland, ok?

Bueno, lo primero de todo, gracias por vuestro apoyo tras lo que escribí en mi post anterior. Están siendo unos tiempos durillos, pero todo debe continuar, y tengo que ponerme al día con todos vuestros blogs, comentarios y todo lo que he estado haciendo en las pasadas semanas... así que comencemos con el primer post de mi viaje a Polonia, ¿de acuerdo?
