Hi there!

I still cannnot believe, but tomorrow (or in a few hours) I'm buying my tickets to Bilbao BBK Libe Festival!! This year, Radiohead and The Cure are coming (with Klaxons, Snow Patrol, Noa and the Whale; and others...). I'm a BIG fan of The Cure and Radiohead... so here we come!! I'm so exited about it; the festival is on July and I'm sure it's gonna be great!

Anyway, I wanted to show you some of the cute new clothes that are arriving to Cache Cache this spring-summer.

The cute skirt is one of the basics for thes upcoming season, with lots of colorful polka dots and a lovely belt with a ribbon (but I forgot to wear it in the pictures, argh!)

The lace neck of the t-shirt is so cute, isn't it? This belong to one of our new collections, called Funny Lady, with lots of colors, ribbons, cute skirts and romantic shirts!

The tights are from Calzedonia, and the little cute shoes are from Claire's, a present from my mum! They're great for work.

Oh, I cannot wait to show you the cute things that are coming to our shop!

And next week, I'm attending to The Brandery Winter Edition! In this edition, they're having so may interesting things, like a Retail Lab, great Workshops and concerts! On friday I'm going to see 2 Many DJs! Cool!

New Noise

New Noise is one of the most famous songs by Refused, a Swedish hardcore band who's back in scene this year! And one of my favourites, I must say.

But I used that song not only for named this post or talk about the band. There's a second purpose about it: the March to Athens, Ocupy Vatican, the World Wide demonstration of next May... the 15M movement continues, and I guess lots of people thinks that we're dead as there are not so many actions these days. But wait. Spring would come, and we're coming back with Spring ;)

Anyway, I went to the cinema last 6 of January for a special sessions of Gremlims and Ghostbusters. I dressed as a lolipunk that day:

At the begining, the films were a surprise, but we all were guessing that would be these two. We really had a lovely time!

Btw, a girl named Bella asked me about writting a post talking about places around Barcelona for a weekend... so I'm prepairing it! Hope it would be useful!

Our New Year's Eve was an amazing one, I must say!

We started having dinner at Ester's house: Marc, Filip, Ester and me. I cooked for the four of us and we teached Filip the spansh tradition about eating the grapes at twelve o'clock.

Ester doesn't drink alcohol, so she had a Cacaolat ;)

After the grapes, we run to Plza Catalunya and from there we took a train to Rubi with Fey and Íñigo. At Rubi was Garrobo, waiting for us for the party!

We actually had lots of fun and arrive home in the morning. Filip was leving Barcelona on that day, so I went with him to the bus station and on my way back home, I bought some donuts for my flatmates and Ester! We spent the rest of the evening watching Millenium and Harry Potter's films!

By the way, that black & white photo was taken for a Carolina Herrera Contest; I really like it :)!

As I told you on my last entry, I was having a special guest for New Year's Eve here at Barcelona! Filip, one of Sandra Beijer's friends, visited me last weekend! He arrived on friday, and we had dinner with Laia at one of our favourite places around Barcelona: Big J's Burguer!

A couples of days before that I had another great dinner with my 15M-gang at Alejo's house. I cooked some curry and we spent the night together having fun.

I was wearing my new H&M cats' dress and Forever21 leopard platforms. Aren't they cute?

Hi there & Merry Christmas!
I've been so busy during the past week (as I'm working now more hours per week) that I didn't realized that it's almost Christmas. This year I'm spending this time at Barcelona again, but I won't be alone, as Hector is staying with me and my friend Ester too. But it's a little bit sad being so far away from my family for the second year, sigh!

Anyway, last week it was my birthday and I receive some lovely presents! I only have pictures of to great pair of shoes from Forever21, but I'll show you more soon!

I've discovered some tartan skirts and dresses on my wardrobe during the past weeks too, as a lovely black hat. So, last week I was dressed like this one day:

I didn't remember I had that gorgeous dress! I bought it in one Flea Market for only 3€ and it's still lovely, perfect for Christmas time!

Yesterday I went mith Micky to Gran Vía for seeing some Christmas shops, and after that I spent the rest of the evening with Fey, Marc and Ivy, who was eating tons of sugar (as you can see on the pictures).

We ended at Mucci's, my actual favourite restaurant from Barcelona. You can eat here the best pizzas and quiches from all the city! I had a portion of Donatello's pizza (with brea and sweet onion) and a pumpkin quiche!

Last 3 of December it was the Winter Loliday, and I was really glad about it; but I believe that every day should be a special day, and not only one or two marked on the calendar.

For example, this past week has been special for me. My mum was here and we had lovely times around Barcelona, as on Wednesday night at 'El Santuxo', a lovely restaurant near Sagrada Familia.

We went with Marc and Fey, and had a great dinner together!

Another special day was last friday, in wich I had lunch with Kim, Esther and Laia. We went to Heart Burguer Barcelona and, despite it was for a short time, we had fun :)!

We're all a little bit missing, but I really love my friends <3. Laia has got lots of work with university... so cheer her up!

On saturday night I had a party with Micky and some of his friends, as Life, a friend who's living in Scotland, came for a couple of days... unfortunately I don't have pictures at the moment!

And today, Ester came home and we had a lovely evening chatting and taking some pictures of my outfit, as we both liked it.

My mum's been here during almost all this week and I've been hanging around with her from sunday to thursday! Unfortunately, the last day was a little bit sad, as she was leaving back home and someone stole my little cardholder in wich I used to had my ID and subway tickets...

... or how a lovely evening with tea can end like a stupid photoshoot with your loli-friends after too much sugar!

So every started one evening, with Vane, Carol and Choco-chan. We met at Vane's house, and she prepared one of the most lovely jasmine teas I've ever drink! It contained a flower that opened itself with the how water.

Vane's home is full of cute things and music, as Dani (her fiancé) plays the guitar with The Last 3 Lines, the band I talked about at my previous post. I really enjoy their little places around their home!

So we recorded a video for a Mexican Lolita Community, as they were celebrating their first anniversary; we made a lovely jelly bean & candy cake!

And this is what happens when you drink so much jasmine tea with sugar and eat candy... you do stupid photoshoots with SpongeBob and a giant lollipop!

Yes, I'm always doing things like this with my loli-friends... but that's why I love them and that's why they're my friends too!

By the way, a couple of weeks ago I attended with Fey (oh, yes, now he's got a blog too!) to a Party Bench by My buffer guest! We had a really good time at Vanity Room, a beautiful pub from Barcelona... really great!

I was wearing my vintage green dress for the occasion, the one I bought at Berlin almost two years ago.

On sunday my mum's coming to Barcelona; we're spending about 4 days together, as we haven't seen us since summer! Today's her birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!!

The Last 3 Lines is a spanish band from Barcelona. I discovered them some time ago, in my last year at Granada. Visions from Oniria is their second album and was released on November 18th!

I met them thanks to Vane, as Dani (one of the guitarists) is her fiancé!

Cannot wait for seeing them in concert again!

And one thing more: I guess some of you know the brand Kawaii Factory, created by my friend Carol. Well, the brand Mayoral has copied one of her desings for their clothes... you can read the whole problem here.

I would like to say that copying the artwork of indepence artist is a shit; hey, big brands, buy them or ask for permission!! Respect!

After two weeks of madness, here I am, back again! The General elections to the Government finished yesterday, as a right-wing party returns to rule the country after eight years. The truth is that I do'nt care about it, 'cause I do'nt trust any politicians, and I will continue fighting for a fairer society with the 15M movement.

But anyway, a week ago I had a break with Marc and Fey, and went to Cup & Cake Barcelona for having some cupcakes with hot tea. It was raining cats and dogs, but it doesn't matter... we had so much fun!

It looks so delicious, isn't in? After our tea and cupcakes, Marc took me some pictures with Fey's coat... it was so big on me that they said I looked like a little girl!

So as I told you, during the past week it was the Manga Convention here at Barcelona, and there were lots of cute stars around me thse days.

Yayra was staying at home, asn she looked faboulous every single day she dressed as a lolita. Yayra's style is amazing, and I really love it.

So on Sunday, we took the train and went to La Farga for having a gorgeous time!

There we met the gang from Madame Chocolat and LiW: Blanca, Vane, Choco-chan, Carol, Cristina, Bea, Sara, Evana, Fidel... everyone was there! I really enjoy working with them; we always hae a gorgeous time!

At the end of that day we were haing dinner at "Burrito's", a new mexican restaurant in front of where the Manga Con took place. But before we left, we met Victoria Frances, a gorgeous spanish illustrator... and so beautiful! She was delighted with Carol, Vane and I... thanks, Victoria!

Dinner was quite fun (we created a new pet, "Shinoharu"... yes, a chip with a face) and we could see Ania too, who didn't go inside the Manca Con 'cause her ankle.

On Monday, it was Halloween! You know this is one of my favourite parties of the year, and there was a special event that night: Nocturna Festival! Victoria Modesto was coming for the very first time to Spain, and of course we wanted to support the event!

So Evana and Cristina came home for having dinner with Vic, Fey and me; and got ready to the party!

I inspired my look in Gabby Young, that wonderful singer that has a lovely carnivale style!

By the way, isn't my new roomate cute? I really love Vic!!

Hi there! The past weekend it was the Manga Convention here at Barcelona, and all my beautiful flowers from around Spain came here and had a lovely weekend together!

It all started on friday, whe we had a great Tea Party organized by Lolita in Wonderland (LiW). Almost all the cute girls were there, and Fidel David was doing a showroom with his last creations!

The event took place at the Alice's room at Madame Chocolate.

Hi there, I'm alive! But my internet connectios it's been down during this past week... it isn't working at all now, but I guess I can update this with a short post about what happened the past weeks!

First of all, it was the Global Revolution demonstration! And here at Barcelona it was great, with more than 400.000 people on the streets shouting and fighting for their rights. It was really amazing.

Sometimes I don't know if all we're doing it's working or something... but when you see this amount of people on the streets... well... it's simply amazing.

It was Esther's birthday that day too, so I was dressed for the party... I only had dinner with my friends, but this is how I looked.

Uri and Fey were there dressed as The Blues Brothers (so elegant both of them!) doing their "first line" work.

Vane, Carol, Veronica and other lolitas were there too with cuteness around her!

It was really wonderful... Did you had any actions on your city?

That week I dressed too for recording one episode of the internet comic show that we're doing about 15M... soon I'll show you about that!

And yesterday night I was a waitress at a benefit concert at Nou Barris; we're occupying a building to rehouse some evicted families, and last night we held a benefit concert to raise funds and help them with their debts. It was a success, and I discovered that I'm no bad waitress! This is a dark picture, but it was taken with a mobilephone!

You know? maybe I don't have so much time with all the 15M stuff, but I feel good doing things like this, fighting for the rights of our people... fighting for my future and the future of those who are coming... and I know that, in some ways, we're making people connecting their mind into reality... waking them up for adignified life. That shouldn't be a privilege. That should be a right.

I guess this week my internet connection would work (or so I hope); so I'll talk to you about the upcoming Manga Convention of Barcelona!

Yesterday, Carlos (a friend from Jerez) came to Barcelona, as he came for the Stiges Cinema Festival. Last time I saw him it was at last year's Manga Convention; and I was really happy. It was a short meeting (in wich we ate sushi!), but really nice.

A trip by train.

After this short post about what's happening today at Barcelona; I want to show you how my weekend was.

On friday night I met Rocío, Carlos, Micky, Cristina and some other friends to celebrate Rocio's birthday! We had dinner all together in a pub and after that, we ate a delicious applepie that Cristina made, yummy! I hope Rocío had a great time with us :)

Then, on saturday and after work, there was a little adventure waiting for me: a trip to Lleida by train.

Saturday was the premiere of the play written by Fey, and of course, we all went to Lleida to support him! I must say that the work, called "Hell: a comedy," was very funny and I laughed a lot, especially with a performance by David Guàrdia, who was angel Raziel.

The trip by train was a little bit long but funny, as everything I do with these guys!

So yes, at the end it was a lovely weekend!

Summer's gone and now my heart bites harder.

It's been a long and strange summer in wich I've got the impression of being doing lots of things but nothing at the same time. With my work and 15M I've been so busy that now, looking back to my summer,I see that I had some good times... let's have a look...

I went to dance with Judit and all my friends to Viruss, having a lovely time.

I went to Heart Burguer, a lovely placein wich burguers are heart-shaped and so delicious... and desserts are gorgeous too!

I took pictures to Laia and she took pictures to me.

Marc & me

I started going to castellers' events with Fey, and discovered that I love it! Unfortunately, there were several crashes in the second event that I attended and Fey did a little damage, but nothing serious.

I saw Mando Diao (again) in concert and took lots of pictures... and dance like a crazy, as always.

We met at Alejo's house, at my place or at cute places, like Santuxo, in wich I ate the best spicy potatoes!

We went to see fireworks with music, a lovely show typical from La Mercé, one of the biggest tipycal catalan parties.

And suddely, autumn came and now that days are shorter and colder, I feel with more energy and prepairing myself for the big things that are coming. For all the bad and the good.

But besides all the stress and bad things that may come, I'm lucky. I'm in good company.

Oh hi there!

Since I came to Barcelona at the end of August I've been working really hard, and I hadn't got tome to update the blog, sorry! Since I'm inside the 15M movement, it's like if I had two jobs instead of one. But anyway, I'm doing it 'cause I believe in what we're moving... so please, excuse me if I've been away the past weeks...

Anyway, I'm gonna show you the pictures of my last weekend at Algeciras! We had a hip-hop festival, and I went there with Rose and my cousin Rocío... and little Kora, too!

it's been more than a year since the last time I saw Kora, but she remembered me as always... I really love this little lady dog!

The night was full of good dane and lyrics, I'm really proud of the hip-hop movement at Algeciras; there are lots of young and talented people and I really wish them the best.

Today's my last night at home and I just wanna show you a few pictures about this week.

It's been a hard week, as I had to look after my grandfather and helped my mother, but I've been with my family and friends, and that's what I wanted, right? So this past two weeks weren't a holiday but it's ok...

Micky was here from Sunday to Wednesday morning; on Sunday we went with my mother and Rafa, her boyfriend, to a new restaurant around here in wich they distill their own beer... it's a cool place and the food was delicious! It's called Kettal and it's near Algeciras, around the industrial park.

I was wearing a lovely dress with bunnies printed on it, from Pull & Bear... the point is that it only costed me 3€ 'cause it had a little hole... a bargain! The socks are from Topshop and the shoes are offbrand.

On Wednesday I met Angie and helped her to buy some clothes; it was really funny as I love to do personal shopping for my friends! She made me this pictures, as she loved the way I was dressed.

The top and the skirt are from Bershka, the socks from H&M and the shoes offbrand... yes, they're the same as the black ones but in white! The bag is from Claire's.

And finally on Thursday I went to the hairdressing, so I can say I'm a proper redhead again!

I'm a little bit sad about leaving, but I'm sure that lots of new things are gonna happen at Barcelona... just wait for it! :)!

The days are much too bright... so we only come out at night; as The Smashing Pumpkins' song used to say!

Here during the day it's been too hot, so during the last week I only came out at night... on thursday I went out with my mum and Rafa; we had dinner and a good time at Plaza Neda, where the NGO in wich I used to work are doing some summer activities, as salsa dance or make up for children.

And on saturday night I had a barbecue with my friends from here: Zori, Ana, David, Miguel Luis, Ismael, Lucy, Juan Alberto... all the gang together for Ana and Ismael's birthday, as every year! It's good to see how every year we gather to celebrate these birthdays, no matter what happens!

These past few days I've been putting some order in my bedroom here at Algeciras, and I found lots of old books I used to read when I was a teen: Nietzche, Tolkien, Rubén Darío, Gabriel García Márquez, Ende, William Golding... I think I've got over 200 books on my bedroom, and I've read them all (some of them 3 or 4 times! Even more, as I read "The Lord of the Rings" like 13 times!).

But anyway, I just wanted to show you today some pictures of my last day at Barcelona. I had a very lovely dinner with Carol, Vane, Micky, Blanca, her boyfriend Christian, Magda, Xavi and two special guest we had that day: the lovely Izumi Goto and Sofie, a gorgeous girl from Denmark who's making a film about Izumi!

Izumi was playing a couple of concerts here at Barcelona, so I told Vane that we should have dinner with her in a very special place wich I knew she would love it: La Alcoba Azul, a small bohemian restaurant really cute!

We had some foie with oporto and cheese with melted candy, and then we had the special dishes from the house: toast with different things! Vane and Carol had some salads too, really delicious!

After dinner, the owners of the restaurant asked if Izumi could sign an autograph, and of course she did! She and Sofie was very pleased with everything!

Finally, we took some pictures on the streets. It was a great night but we all were a little bit tired, so we said goodbye until the next time Izumi and Sofie visit Spain... I really hope it would be very soon!!

Hi there!

So, as I told you on my last entry, I'm at home for a couple of weeks! And the best part about it is that I can have a lovely time with my family and friends from here.

On Sunday night, after I arrived to Málaga's Airport, I had a lovely dinner at the beach with my mum and stepfather. I finally ate grilled sardines, my favourite summer meal!! So delicious!

And then, on monday night I had a very special reunion with my friend Alex and my cousin Rocío. It's been a year since the last time I saw Rocío, as she's been at India, Thailand and Mexico during all this year... and I've missed her so much!

Today I had a walk around the twon center, and maybe tonight I'm seeing some other friends around here, but before that I'll visit my grandparents... I've missing them so much too. Anyway, I looked today like this:

I couldn't sleep...

Hi everyone.

First of all, I would like to say something: the world is going crazy, and I'm very worried about that. What happened on Norway, UK, Siria... what's happening in my own country... well, all these things have been causing me to not sleep too well at night (besides a cold that has kept me with a fever for three weeks).

Meanwhile, 15M Spain are still struggling trying to change the world, though at times I find it complicated task, but my will to keep fighting no self-conscious at all. That's why I've been so disconected these past few days.

But on sunday I'm flying home for two weeks, and I'll be working hard too there, but beside my family... I miss them so much.

Anyway, I just wanna show you some random pics from the past few weeks. I've got some more for another entry; I hope you all like them!

I felt like Dorothy coming back to Oz (The Brandery & Fitting Room Bcn)

My second day at The Brandery was full of good things. First of all, I met some great people at Bcn Fitting Room, like Lucía Zapata, the great photographer who took that first picture above! And I'm also featured on her blog, Unique People! Have a look at it 'cause I really find it so interesting!
I met Rosanna from Moda a mi modo; María Galán from Miss Patty, Irma from Chocolate & Weddings or Arantxa from Aires Nuevos and BCN Fashion Meeting.

But let's start by the beginning... I arrived early to The Brandery BCN and had a look to the lovely collection of Poupée Chic, full of colors and lovely things... you see, it's totally my kind of clothes! Charo, one of the designers, explained me that all the prints are handmade and they try to create a unique and funny fashion for daily use. I think I would use every single piece of their collection!

After this, I went to Mürfila's benefit concert, organized by YO Donna... here you can see some pictures, it was really goo and Mürfila is very friendly, I must say!

And then, I went to Fitting Room Barcelona, in wich a discovered one of the most lovely brands I've ever seen: Azpeleta&Martínez. I met Susana in their room, a gorgeous woman with an exquisite fashion taste, I must say. And they had lots of lovely heart-coockies and a cake, yummy!

And after Fitting Room... I had the pleasure of seeing (again) Nouvelle Vague on concert! I really love this band, and their lives are always funny and full of great music. Here you can see some pictures I took at the concert and a few more of that day.

The Brandery Barcelona: days of fashion and music.

As you all may know by now, last week was The Spring-Summer Brandey Edition, and of course I was there with Laia, Carlos and Laia Chic for seeing the new trends at Barcelona.

Some of the news about this edition are the big collaboration that The Brandery made with music this year. There was some music events during the three days: some benefit concerts organized with an Mozambique NGOs or the performances of artists such as Ladytron, Nouvelle Vague or Carlos Jean.

This is where the benefit concerts were held, built with 25 km of rope, making some kind of dome. The event was organized too with the collaboration of Yo Donna Magazine. Amazing.

The stad of Flamenco Chic was really cute, one of my favourites, so colorful, happy, fun and with pretty clothes! It reminds me a little bit to a cute grandmother's house full of old and lovely things!

Everyone is different, there lies our beauty. No one represents us.

At Salvador Bachiller's stand was a small contest where you could participate leaving a sentence written on a board. This was my sentence, with special reference to Acampada Barcelona. Yes, we're still fighting here :)

One fo the coolest things of the first day was Superdry's fashion show. you see, maybe is not the type of brand I would use... but they definitly made a awesome show, full of music and dance (Brodas Bros, a hip hop band, were the main models and they danced, made beat box...). In one word: AMAZING.

Seriously, GREAT!!

We also had that day a Bloggers Meeting here at The Brandery, but I couldn't stay too long 'cause the WGSN conference was starting early, so I leave very soon. But I could meet Alba Montero, one of the organizers of The Brandery. Thanks to her I could enter into the Yo Donna BSO space... so thanks again, Alba!

A Shaded View of Fashion: meeting Mrs. Diane Pernet.

Today I had the great pleasure of meeting one of the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen: Diane Pernet, from A Shaded View Of Fashion.

For those who doesn't know who Diane Pernet is, I just would say that she's one of the most gorgeous fashion editors that Elle and VOGUE had in their history; as a respectable fashion filmaker who's been promoted new talents from her own fil festiva, the ASVOFF Festival.

This festival would come to Barcelona next January, and there will be 3 competitions: Official, Students and a Mobile Fashion Film Competition. Today was the announcement of the opening and the launch of the ASVOFF Barcelona website; and I went there with Matt, one of my friends (that I must say I met at Acampadabcn!).

With Mrs. Pernet was Liz Monfort, Valenti Farras and Alex Murray-Leslie, who is like the coordinator of all the festival.

during the presentation, they showed a short spot of the festival. I leave you the video here too, 'cause it's really nice!

Diane was really nice with us, and we talked about fashion, cinema and the future of arts for about 20 minutes! Seriously, one of the most gorgeous and interesting persons I've ever met.I hope and wish we could meet again and talk a little bit more!

By the way, The Brandery is almost here and I cannot wait for seeing all the new things they're offering in this edition! It's gonna be great!

On wednesday, Laia and I woke up early in the morning 'cause we were having a interview for Tendencias Tv. The point was about The Brandery Summer Edition, in wich we're attending as a VIP assistances.

We met Francesca at 9'30 a.m. and we get into the Fira of BCN, the place in wich The Brandery will be; and she asked us a few questions. I'm leaving you the video at the end of this post, so you can see it... it's in spanish but with english subtitles, so you all can watch it!!

After the interview, we met Rocío and Judit, and spent the afternoon with them. Laia left at 3'00 p.m. and I went shopping with them. Judit wanted me as her Personal Shopper; Rocío joined us and I think I did a good job... soon I'll show you the results!

I'm on Misako Aoki's book!!

On 2009, the japanese model Misako Aoki came to Barcelona as "Kawaii embassor" from Japan, and with Yu Kimura, they were at the first Tea Party fom the japanese brand "Baby, the Stars Shine Bright".

So, as today I was wearing my BSSB Halloween printed skirt (my favourite one), I discovered that Misako has released a book with her "adventures" around the world... and I'm there, with lots of pictures! If you click on the picture below, you can see it bigger! I was wearing in some of those pictures my red lolita dress, and my punk putumayo skirt in some others!

Fitting Room Barcelona 5º Edition

Next 14 of July there would be a new edition of Fitting Room, this time at Barcelona, and I'm glad to say that I'll be there!

There would be 30 bloggers that could go to this special edition at the B-Hotel... and I'm so exited about this! there would be designer from Germany, France, Venezuela or Spain; and as I sw some lovely works... well, you can understand why I'm so happy about this!

But maybe you shold have a look by yourself!

The Brandery would be the event partner of Fitting Room, and would give a prize to one of the designers: a big space for showing their work at their winter edition! I think is a great oportunity for all of them! So good luck!
And moreover, more thatn 10 shops around Barcelona will select some of these great artist for their shops. I'm so glad about seeing that there are so many people who wants to give a chance to young designers!

Today, finally, I did some social life with Laia, Esther, Debora and Helena. Yes, FINALLY! 'Cause I've been doing nothing but working, working and working... yes, not only in my "normal" work, but also at Plaza Catalunya at the Feedback Subcomission... It¡s been a crazy week and finally we've decided that we're staying at Plaza Catalunya until we decided to leave, yes!

We're working really hard with the Social Networks, trying to expand our message... this takes me to the first point of this post: I know that you, all of you who read me; are from different parts of the world. I beg you please to visit the Facebook and Blog from Acampadabcn and if you can translate the information around there into your language (if it haven´t been translated yet) and send it to me... I'll be thankful forever!!

The other point comes by a long story about the camps around Spain and the world...

Some pictures from a few days ago at the camp of Plaza Catalunya.

The Press is rarely showing a picture of us that is not correct. They're calling us "perroflautas", wich means something like "dirty hippies with dogs and flutes"; treating us sometimes like people who only smoke weed and things like that. And I'm tired about that. You see, I'm not a hippie (I love their culture and all those things but I'm not a dirty hippie, as you all know); so that's why I wanna do the thing I'm gonna explain you all:

If there's a camp in your city (look here) choose a lovely outfit, take your camera, go there, take some pictures of the camp and some other pictures of you and after that send them to me. I want to do a special post talking about this, and maybe (why not?) publish a little book with all the pictures from different camps around Spain and the world, and their different people.

I'm tired about the image that Press is talking about, so I want YOU now to talk about it and prove that we're not only hippies around here... we're lot of people, from very different styles, culture and ideas!!

So, if you like this, take out your camera and make some cool shoots for me!

And that's why Laia and I decided today that Plaza Catalunya was a great place for some pictures... (and as you can see above, I've been thinking this from some time before today!).

Chronicle of a frustrated eviction.

I normally don't ask for this, but I want to tell you all the truth about what happened today at Barcelona. I'm writting this in english 'cause I want, also, YOU ALL to understand this.

I was tired, totally fatigued. The previous night I had come home late and went to bed to try to rest as much as possible that night in May.

I was awakened by music from my mobile phone, but not the clock ... it was Pablo, calling at 7'30 am to inform the eviction that is beginning to occur in the camping of Plaza Catalunya. I wanted to go there, but he urged me to stay home and take care of Social Networks of Acampadabcn until further notice. Thus began my day.

I started to collect information, verify facts that I came from everywhere. I put the TV and tuned in several radio and television through the computer to try not to miss anything. I started to encourage people through Twitter and Facebook (and I'm a member of the Subcommittee on Feedback in the Acampadabcn) to come to the plaza, and act in a peaceful way... but nothing helped our pacifism and flowers.

The Mossos (Catalan police, so to speak) charged on the young and not so young people who were gathered there, indiscriminately beating people who were sitting on the floor in a peaceful, quiet calling. Television cameras were witness to these facts, indignant about the actions of security forces ... which, later, "denied" aggression or violence.

At 11.00 am I broke down and what I was doing to go to the plaza. When I arrived, I could contact Cristian, another Feedback boys, and together we see how people protested what was happening ... until mossos reloaded. Yes, as you read. Became a worldwide hit by violence, people sitting on the ground that raised their hands in peace to their attacks. Cristian and I ran everything we could, and I ended up locked in a bank, separate from others. Upon leaving, I tried to contact with my teammates, but just tracked down my friend Alejandro, with whom I met. Together again we see how people make the place a peaceful, just before the occurrence of a new violent incident (now out of the square) and watch the mossos fired rubber bullets from their cars as they left (one near my head, if that ball hit me on my head, I would be dead now.)
They've acted violently to our flowers and smiles, our peaceful resistance. There is a guy in the hospital, which fortunately will live ... but at what price. They threaten to evict us again ... but we don't want to leave the square. Because it is our claim. Our meeting point. Our way of yelling that we do not agree with their laws and policies. Our struggle. Our home.

Because we will not leave until consensus about the solutions that politicians do not give us, and oddly, we are getting through popular debate.
If you feel outraged by what you just read, imagine how I feel, me, who this lived in the flesh. If you feel outraged, shares this story to be read worldwide.

If you feel outraged, just call ... and TAKE THE SQUARE. But always in a peaceful way. 'Cause they want violence from us. And we'll only give them our naked hands.

She moves in her own way (SOS Festival day 1)

So yes, I'm back from Murcia and I cannot explain with words the good times I had on that city with my friends and dancing in every concert we went to. It was a crazy weekend full of fun and great moments... and yes, that was me on friday!

All started on thursday morning, the day in with Meri, Vic, Micky and I travelled to Murcia and met there Sergio, Bea, Lucas, Andrea, Oli, Oct, Vane and Mel. We passed that day drinking and chatting, and on friday, we finally went to the SOS Estrella Levante 4.8 festival... that day there were playing lots of awesome bands: The Kooks, Vetusta Morla, Yan Tiersen, MGMT, Steve Aoki and Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77.

In our way to the place in wich the festival was happening, we met Luke Pritchard, the singer of The Kooks. He was very friendly and nice with us!

So we finally arrived to the place and waited for a few hours until we could go to the main stage.

And yes, I made that t-shirt for that day, as the hairband. On the back of the t-shirt you could read "La cocaína no es buena para tu salud", a part of a DFA 1979 song that Crystal Castles sampled for "Untrust Us".

The first concert of the evening at the main stage were performed by The Kooks.

Nusk was so so happy about this concert!

And after this concerts, the band that I was waiting for came into the stage: Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77. Their performance was... well, AMAZING; I think I cannot use another word for it. I almost don't have pictures 'cause it was crazy and I was dancing during all the show.

Finally, Steve Aoki closed a perfect first night of SOS Festival, with a great dj session.

But the best part of the festival was about to come... 'cause on saturday we were seeing one of my favourite bands ever: Suede. But more about this... tomorrow!

So yes, while the world was crazy about the Royal UK wedding, I was around Barcelona with my mum and her boyfriend, who came here for the weekend!

I took them to Demasie cafe, and they loved it.

We also visited an haute couture exhibition at Passeig de Gracia, and to the event "Sing for Japan", in wich Eric was involved.

This week I'm really busy... we're leaving next Thursday to Murcia for SOS Festival... I'm so happy and excited about this!! But I'll write a better post before I leave, promise!!

A couple of weekends ago I had a lovely night with Eric at Viruss. He was so stunning with his vinyl boots... oh, I loved him so much!!

And I was dressed as a pin up girl that night. Eric curled my hair and I used my red polka dots corset.

First of all, we went to Dixie, where we met Laia; she looked so lovely and pin up too! Eva was there with her too!

And after a copuple of drinks, we went to Viruss... Blut, Donna, Markos... everybody was there! An we danced all night.

I took this photo of Markos & me, I really love this picture! You may don't know, but Markos is one of my besties around here, and I really admire him and the rest of my "club boys" 'cause they're so true and great... even if we don't see very often each other, Markos and I know when we're feeling sad and how to cheer us up!

I've been a little bit sad these past few days 'cause of spring; this time of the year makes me feel sad always... but anyway, this week my mum's coming to Barcelona and we'll spend some time together, so I'm happy about that! And in less of two weeks, I'm going to Murcia, for the SOS festival... live music, come to me!
